Dr. Dubey obtained his B.E. (Honors) degree from India and worked for two large corporations for seven years before leaving for USA on a full (East-West Center) scholarship to pursue an MBA. He worked in the US as Director of Operations Planning for the Hawaiian Electric Co. for 15 years and became a faculty for the University of Hawaii for the next 15 years. He worked on his doctorate while teaching and consulting and earned a Ph.D. in management from the University of Wales at Swansea/UK.

He has consulted with over 30 U.S. organizations both in the public and private sectors. In 2003-04, he was awarded a Fulbright scholarship by the Fulbright Board (appointed by the president of the United States ) to lecture and teach in India . He has taught management and organizational behavior to MBA/BBA students in France , Hungary , India , and the USA .
